I'm a software engineer, mostly on the backend and platform side: internal tools, document pipelines, and the integrations that quietly hold a system together. I like pulling apart how a messy system actually works and then making it work better.
Before Cover I was at Trajector building cross-team data integrations, and before that I spent ten weeks heads-down in an AI engineering fellowship at Gauntlet. Earlier I ran a small business, which is where I learned how much of software has nothing to do with code.
Outside of work I run, play too much chess, follow Michigan sports (go blue), and once spent a few months backpacking East Asia with one bag and no plan. I write here when I get curious enough about something to actually dig in.
